Patricia Ann Paulson (Olds)

Patricia Ann Paulson was born on October 29, 1934, to Clinton and Esther (Hennum) Olds in Cloquet, Minnesota where she was raised and attended school. Following her education, Pat began working at Northern Paper. Later in her life, Pat was employed as a manager of the local license bureau for many years prior to retiring from the workforce. She was united in marriage to Franklyn Paulson on her birthday, October 29, 1955, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Cloquet. The couple purchased the family farm in Blackhoof Township near Barnum, Minnesota where they raise four children. In 2002, they had the honor of celebrating their century farm. Franklyn preceded Pat in death in 2007, but Pat remained on the farm they shared until 2013, when she moved into Cloquet. Pat passed away on Friday, August 26, 2022, at the age of 87.

Pat enjoyed traveling, especially time spent in Branson, Missouri, Missouri. She was a longtime member of Elim Lutheran Church in Blackhoof Township and was a woman of strong faith. Pat served in the circle group and ensured the circle operated smoothly even years after she was able to serve. As a constant provider and excellent host, Pat was naturally skilled at bringing people together. She was in her glory at mealtime with her family gathered around their favorite foods and always kept a constant supply of treats on hand. She never missed an opportunity if possible, to support her loved ones

at events and sports games. Pat was a truly kind person and leaves a legacy of caring for others in the traits she instilled in her family.

Pat will be remembered by her children, Roger (LeAnn) Paulson of Cloquet, Jerald (Connie) Paulson of Barnum, and Paula (Alvin) King of Cloquet; grandchildren, Jason (Corina), Justin (Jessica), Jared, Joel, Samantha (Brody), Lindsey, and Candice (Brandon); eight great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; son, Mark Paulson; and sister, Kathleen.
